I took a Minnesota Public Radio quiz that helps you determine who you should support for president, based on your answers to a few questions. I had a three way tie between Rudy Giuliani, Fred Thompson and Duncan Hunter. I never heard of Duncan Hunter before, but I guess he’s a Republican congressman from California…

I saw The Golden Compass and didn’t turn into a pillar of salt

I went to see The Golden Compass this afternoon, the fantasy movie based on a series of books that has sparked some controversy due to its supposedly anti-religion message. I must say, it was better than I though it would be and I’d recommend it to anyone interested in the fantasy genre.

Monday night stand-up comedy at Bela Dubby

I recently checked out Bela Dubby, a coffee shop/bar on Madison in Lakewood. Pretty cool place. The walls are covered with art from local artists and the inside decor kinda feels like a 1950’s kitchen. A crazy mish mash of furniture. They serve beer and also various coffee drinks. Plus, there’s free WiFi, so you can access the Internet from your laptop, iPhone or iPod Touch.

It’s raining glass!

So I was sitting in my condo when I heard glass breaking and saw stuff falling outside my window. Apparently something broke the window in the condo above me. They’re working on the roof here, so I thought maybe something swung off the roof and hit the window.

I went outside to take a look and, of course, I taped it and put it up on YouTube…
