Channel 5 interviews me for report on dogs living in downtown Cleveland
April 23rd, 2009 | by Jeremy |Channel 5 reporter Alicia Scicolone interviewed me yesterday for a story they were doing on the increase in dogs living in downtown Cleveland. (I’d post a link to the story, but it looks like they don’t have text, just a video)
The Downtown Cleveland Alliance was looking for dog owners that were willing to talk to the media. They wanted to promote the story as a tie in for Saturday’s I Love Downtown open house. I said she could pass my name and number along since my girlfriend and I have a Yorkie-Pom. (yes, I live with a little fluffy dog… I’ve come to terms with it.)
They shot the story Thursday morning and then it ran a few times during their morning newscast today. I’m worried it might be a hit against my masculinity, but here’s the video in all its squished, widescreen to 4:3 glory: (don’t blame me… Blame Newsnet5′s encoding team. We want our HDTV!)

I think it’s getting blocked by a firewall on your end… If you can’t visit YouTube, you won’t be able to see the video.
