Metromix Cleveland up and running
June 5th, 2008 | by Jeremy |Well it looks like Metromix has finally come to Cleveland. The entertainment site that started in Chicago is a pretty cool place to check out bars, restaurants and events in the city, giving sites like Cleveland Nights a run for their money.
I like the layout and it seems like there’s already a good amount of content there. The trick with sites like that is to keep it constantly updated, so as long as they can do that, it will be a regular destination for me.
Although, they might be trying a little too hard in targeting Adults 21-35 with their language… “Hey, C-Town! If you’re hip to some sweaty summer nights on the banks of the Burning River, be sure to dial up Metromix for the 411 on the hottest bars and the coolest restaurants! Our slick layout and clever language ensures alcohol distributors will pay top dollar to get their message in front of YOU! So, c’mon, C-Town! Put down that iPhone, logoff MySpace and get ready to GET KRUNK!” I wonder if their spellcheck automatically replaces “Cleveland” with “C-Town” two out of every three times it’s typed. You like to party and throw out hip catch phrases. We get it.
That being said, I’ll probably visit 2-3 times a week…

Hey Jeremy,
Thanks for the support. I’ll try and tone down the c-town a little bit for you. We’ve got a bunch of events planned over the next few weeks, check our schedule, come out and meet up with us.
Welcome to Metromix,
