Monday night stand-up comedy at Bela Dubby
December 6th, 2007 | by Jeremy |I recently checked out Bela Dubby, a coffee shop/bar on Madison in Lakewood. Pretty cool place. The walls are covered with art from local artists and the inside decor kinda feels like a 1950’s kitchen. A crazy mish mash of furniture. They serve beer and also various coffee drinks. Plus, there’s free WiFi, so you can access the Internet from your laptop, iPhone or iPod Touch.
Every Monday night from 8pm till 9pm, there’s a free stand-up comedy show. And yours truly will be one of the people performing on December 10. I’ll just be doing a short set — about five minutes or so. I was looking over my notes and it looks like I haven’t really done any stand-up in almost a year. Wow. So I might be a little rusty, but it should be a good time. Come check it out. Or don’t. It really doesn’t matter to me.
