January 31st, 2007 | by Jeremy |I love Aqua Teen Hunger Force. (and my girlfriend hates it) A feature length movie is due out in March and as part of an underground marketing campagin, lightboxes featuring one of the characters from the show were planted in major cities across the country.
But the city of Boston thought they were bombs! They sent in the bomb squad, the mayor’s pissed, blah, blah, blah. But you KNOW the guys over at Adult Swim are LOVING this publicity. (although they’d probably never admit it to the news. Or the police. Or the mayor of Boston.)
I also love when the news has to write all “newsy” about absurd situations…
“The cartoon also includes two trouble-making, 1980s-graphic-like characters called “mooninites,” named Ignignokt and Err _ who were pictured on the suspicious devices. They are known for making the obscene hand gesture depicted on the devices. “

Hey, I saw a show that had me laughing about our PA days. Fat babies!! One was 4′4″, 410 pounds. Nope, not a misprint. I actually felt bad for the kid, but that sick part of me was rolling!
