July 9th, 2006 | by Jeremy |Well, it looks like LeBron James will be resigning with the Cavaliers, which could keep him in Cleveland at least through the 2010-2011 season. This is AWESOME! Glad to see that he cares about more than just money… But that’s just how we roll in northeast Ohio.
By the way, I’m typing this from the Starbucks on West 6th. It’s pretty much on the opposite corner of my loft and the wireless signal from my hub actually reaches all the way out here. Only one bar (out of four) but unless cell phones where the signal needs to be strong and steady, the construction of the Internet allows it to come on and off to send packets. But it still seems pretty steady. Adium is staying connected. No complaints.
Starbucks offers T-Mobile wireless in here, but it isn’t free. Dumb. With so many places offering free WiFi, I don’t know why Starbucks is charging.
We’ll see how long my battery lasts.
(ironically, while trying to post this, my connection dropped. I need to put a wifi antenna in my window and point it towards Starbucks. And I’m just geeky enough to do it….)

starbucks make money off of something free? noooo.
i visited a starbucks of the future once, and they made me pay for walking on their floors. then, when i went to the one across the street with my hover belt on, they made me pay for the air i was using to hover with.
it’s only going to get worse jeremy. like the grammar in this comment. hover with? who says things like that?
