July 3rd, 2006 | by Jeremy |After not doing a stand-up comedy act in years, I’ll be getting back on stage next week.
I’ve been wanting to find someplace I can do stand-up on a fairly regular basis in an effort to hone my comedy skills and find a good creative outlet. I hesitate to mention when and where I’ll be doing this because I’m extremely rusty and have no idea how it will come off. But what the heck… I’ll be performing on Wednesday, July 12 during The Grimey Ninety Comedy Show at the Bassa Vita Lounge in Lakewood. (that’s in the basement of Bottoms Up on West 117th, between Detroit and Madison) The show “officially” starts at 10:30pm, but in my experience, it’s more like 11pm. I don’t know where in the line up I’ll be.
So if you’re up and around the night of July 12, stop by. Could be a good laugh. Or cry.
