At about 11:30am today, I heard fire trucks close outside my window. When I looked, outside there was a huge plume of dark smoke coming up from West 3rd Street, just north of Superior Avenue. I then noticed flames coming from… Lolly the Trolley!
According to a woman who was apparently on the trolley as part of a family reunion, as the trolly was driving they began to smell smoke and then noticed smoke begin to come from the engine. They quickly got off before it burst into flames.
