January 25th, 2003 | by Jeremy |So cleveland.com is currently running the give us your best ideas for Valentine’s Day promo and then we’re going to further investigate those ideas on a future episode of Jeremy Borger on the Web. Well, they’ve gotten some responses and forwarded them to me and I just wanted to post one here because I found it amusing.
It’s from “Sarah” in Cincinnati, Ohio. She writes… (and I left it in all CAPS because that’s how she wrote it) “MY PERFECT VALENTINES DAY WOULD BE SPENT WITH JEREMY BORGER! HE IS A FUNNY AND NOT TO MENTION CUTE GUY..I AM SURE WE WOULD THINK OF SOMETHING FUN TO DO FOR VALENTINES DAY!”
Hahahaha. I bet she’s 12. Too bad she’s in Cincinnati!
(just kidding… that’s a joke, people…)
On a more serious note, one of the guys over at HippoFest posted an interesting article on why the Internet sucks. Specifically, Adelphia, of which I am a cable modem subscriber. Mostly due to their “Terms of Service” for being a cable modem customer. The typical crazy stuff like “We can spy on you at will” and “We can change these terms at any time without notifying you”. Fairly common but still very evil. Oh, well. I hope they see this: SCREW YOU ADELPHIA! I’M RUNNING 27 WEB SERVERS! COME AND STOP ME! MUHAHAHAHA!
